We have all been fans of the superhero genre or are familiar with it in some way or the other. At the same time, we have been aware of the superhero groups like The Avengers, The Justice League, or Fantastic 4 for decades through comics, series, and movies. Not everyone is aware of the small players.
This is where Teen Titans come in; from DCU, back in the 1960s, when quite a lot of sidekicks were introduced and were already in the comics alongside their mentor for some time, a separate fan base was beginning to form for these heroes. DC realized this potential and created Teen Titans, which included Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash as the group’s founding members.
Later the entire team was approved and funded by Flash, Batman, and Aquaman, whose approval gave the Titans the boost they required, thus enabling them to hire their first member Wonder Girl, who is currently the team leader. Now, all of this was made in the comics back in the day; from there, The Teen Titans animated series was made and did a successful run on TV back in the early 2000s.

While superhero shows and movies were already showing up and running successfully, which we will talk about in this article, DC saw an opportunity to make their own already successful franchise into a show called Titans.
