Floating installation of 17(!) ships! 👀 💪 Our 100,000-tonne semi-submersible "Xin Guang Hua" has floated and installed 17 ships through three submersions in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and #Singapore. 🌊Now she's on her way to Guinea. These 23,300 tonnes of equipment - including two floating cranes, six barges and nine tugboats - will play an important role in supporting mining #projects in West Africa. The sight of these ships stacked on Xin Guang Hua's deck is a real delight to behold!#shipping

👉 Number of the week: 45.000!This time no cherries or grapes but... 45,000 tons of wheat 🌾! 🚢 As wheat harvest season peaks in July and August, timely storage and distribution are crucial. At COSCO SHIPPING Lines, we’ve seen how containers have become the preferred choice for grain transportation, thanks to their advantages of secure closure, minimal loss, and reduced pollution. Leveraging waterways for container transport has proven to be one of the most flexible, efficient, and quick-turnaround methods for grain allocation.🌐 South China Container Transportation, a subsidiary of COSCO #SHIPPING Lines, meticulously analyzed wheat flows to southern regions in China, aligning closely with the needs of grain storage and #logistics enterprises. By coordinating #transportation capacity and maintaining seamless communication with transit and destination ports, we successfully handled the transit of 45,000 tons of wheat since July, ensuring a smooth #supplychain.
