For the ultimate pickle experience, guests can pair it with the Dill Pickle Flavored Crust, another limited summer offering with premium toppings, for a tangy taste with every bite.

They also unveiled a new addition to their summer menu, the Backyard Burger Pizza. With a sesame seed crust that resembles the bun, the pizza features a special base sauce made from ketchup and mustard and a secret spice blend to give you the smokey burger feel.
As a substitute for a burger, it features your usual filling:

- Tomatoes
- Mozzarella
- Cheddar Cheese
These summer pizza offerings would be perfect for your next outdoor picnic with family and friends. Both offerings are available from June 24 to September 30 but may vary depending on each Hungry Howie’s local store and may be available in delivery service platforms like Doordash.It relieves a familiar memory of when your father and uncles would grill burger patties outdoors for the family to enjoy.

Growth and Community of Hungry Howie’s
Jim Hearn founded Hungry Howie’s Pizza in 1973 when he turned a 1,000-square-meter Tic Toc hamburger shop in Michigan into a pizza place. Soon enough, the chain started growing as he partnered with his pizza delivery guy, Steve Jackson.
Over the years of being in a competitive market, independent owners Hearn and Jackson have developed the taste and menu of their products until they discovered something that no other competitors have – flavored pizza crusts. The course of Hungry Howie’s changed after they added the option to their menu in 1985 when they became the originators of flavored crusts.
Hungry Howie’s is also known for their community-driven projects, such as the “Love, Hope, and Pizza,” a movement for breast cancer patients. Every October, customers may purchase pizzas in pink boxes as each sale converts to a donation for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
