  • So I will be answering you with a basic principle of Product Management as I am sure you are doing business to sell a product , no matter if it's a physical or digital product. It can be also a service. So the basic mantra to get successful with your product is listening to the consumers before the customers.I hope you know the difference between the two.But if not comment and I will describe it in detail. So listen to the consumers pain point and design a product around those pain points and then nobody can stop you to be successful as you will get the first mover advantage like hell .Moreover if your consumer is served they will convince customers to buy it for them and the most word of mouth effect will launch your product high in the sky.

In my experience, without knowing who will be your potential customer, a business would not accelerate. Many a times businesses suffer because they do not understand their potential customers. Nokia when started launching Microsoft Lumia phones did not do proper research about the other competitors and what the customers were actually requiring. Though people used windows in your PCs it was a complicated OS to run on a mobile phone and people had already preferred android and iOS as their go to softwares, Nokia came late to the party and no one actually accepted them, only if they did a thorough research they could have launched a sturdy Nokia android phone, which could have made a difference.
